As we came to patna devi mandir with the help of google maps; Because we didn’t know much about the mandir and gautala forest we got info about the mandir from my father’s friend and uncle only told us about the patna devi mandir I suddenly noticed on map the there is another mandir of god shiva in the route  in gautala sanctuary so we decided to visit that too. and this is the best decision of our trip life

there is a footpath connected to the main road of patna devi mandir which goes inside of the forest and after that footpath there is a beautiful road made of stone which is connected to the entry of the mandir and with entry there is a beautiful view of the mandir is in front of us.

        Af
ter entering the gate I saw the entrance of the mandir I thought is is a straight door way to the heaven it looks so beautiful and stastifying. interior of the temple is also very interesting and beautifully carved and the main chamber of god shiva is also beautifully carved the mandir is
facing east on a square six to seven feet high. It has a large sanctum sanctorum and a verandah. The sanctum sanctorum is lunar-shaped and has 28 rounded corners inside. The temple is 75 feet long, 36 feet wide and 18 feet high.

history and structure -

The formation of mandir is started in 11th century in hemadpanthi style the

same styled mandir is situated in various corners of Maharashtra. The pillars of the mandir is carved with the sculptures of lord ganesha shiiva and saptamatruka said the pujari of the mandir.
This mandir is a perfect example of architecture and it is built in the way that the first rays of sunrise will fall directly on the Shivlinga.

the route is very simple to reach the mandir it has small board written महादेव मंदिर  is there you can take turn and take your car or bike to the road made of stone and then the beautiful mandir is in front of you.

after the hard journey the beautiful views of nature and the artificial structures of our ancestors; my mind belives on the quote that     “ Hardwork pays off !!! ”
